Edizioni Henry Beyle
Henry Beyle is a Milan-based publishing house specialising in the production of limited-edition monotype booklets printed on precious papers. Pages are uncut to afford readers the adventurous gift of a progressive disclosure of the contents. Initially, volumes were devoted to bibliophile stories whereas at present the catalogue comprises prose, essays, novels and almanacs.
Riccardo Giacconi
Riccardo will be presenting a selection of works emerging from his long-term research on South Tyrolean history. Taking its cue from Options (2020), a set of cards offering a non-linear reading of the events that led to the annexation of South Tyrol to Italy at the end of WWI, Riccardo will install a number of exhibits in Rorhof’s studio space to mark the beginning of a new collaboration, including manifestoes, audio tracks and a spatial display of Options.

SOS ART - Stillness in Moving Image
This week we open the second part of the exhibition devoted to the work of Davide Sossella. In our underground theatre gallery, we will project video content shot between October and December 2020 in the mountain hut in Batoe where Davide has been living and painting every day since the end of his eighteen-years jail sentence.

Erik Kessels
Erik Kessels is a Dutch artist and curator. Founder and creative director of international advertising agency KesselsKramer, Erik’s personal work moves from and flows into the field of vernacular or found photography. He collects pictures on flea markets, fairs, junk shops, archives and online, which he re-contextualises in the form of playful and unapologetic books. This week, he presents Apples and Pears, the book he curated for RORHOF on the monumental beauty of South Tyrolean fruits purposed for liquor production as originally photographed by Hermann Frass in the Seventies.
Keller Editore
Keller Editore is an independent publisher based in Rovereto, specialising in novels, reportages, and essays. Keller champions the translation of works by little-known foreign authors into Italian and pays particular attention to Mitteleuropean culture and themes.
Stanglerhof
After a decade-long hibernation, the Stanglerhof - one of the oldest farms in St. Konstantin - is back as a fully working farm run by Clara and Heiner. Natural and traditional materials (straw, wood and clay) combined with a modern design language bring the former barn to life as a tavern, where concerts, screenings, markets and other artistic pursuits are hosted.

Have you ever noticed that kids’ books are rarely if ever actually made by kids themselves? Unibz’s MA student Tom Semmelroth will lead a workshop to fill the gap.

Alphabeta is a Meran-based publishing house focusing on linguistics and cross-cultural communication, novels and studies in mental health. Closely tied to the cultural scene of South Tyrol, alphabeta’s editorial discourse emerges from the lived experience of border-lands with multiethnical and plurilinguistic richness.

SOS Art
RORHOF's first art exhibition opens this week and it is dedicated to the work of Davide Sossella, a former inmate currently living in Batoe, a village in the Giudicarie Valley, in Trentino. Davide undertakes painting as a daily therapy. Among his subjects are crying women and children, upside-down flower pots, horses, chickens, turkeys, bees and cats.
bruno
bruno is a three-headed creature. A graphic design studio, an exhibition space and a bookshop all at once, bruno focuses on art and photography books. Run by Andrea Codolo and Giacomo Covacich, bruno also operates as an independent art publisher.
franzLAB
franzLAB is a communication agency, promoting a more-than-apples-and-cows vision of South Tyrol and Trentino. As a publisher, franzLAB focuses on mountain narratives, championing an interdisciplinary approach to seeing, making, writing and living above and below the tree line.

Aspmayrhof*Hotel Amazonas
Margareth Kaserer and Simon Steinhauser dish out delicacies in their mountain kitchen corner a.k.a Buschenschank, host art residencies on their farm and make music to make merry. Manaròt Magazine
Nicolò Tabarelli and Davide Gritti edit Manaròt, a magazine devoted to contemporary literature from and on the Adige valley. ‘Manaròt’, meaning ‘ax’ in Trentino dialect, indicates the militant nature of the publication, fighting for the word in a worldly wide web of visual wantonness. To start with, Nachlass, an issue on the collection of scripts, notes and scribbles left behind by writers upon their death.

Les Cerises
Les Cerises is an editorial project by Daniele Lupo, Angelika Burtscher, and Cecilia and Agnese Canziani. Limited edition wordless books are commissioned to artists, designers and architects with the child in mind. All publications come in a range of formats and materials for a total of two per year. Cherry-picking at its peak.
Zebra
Inspired by the principles of the “Buen vivir”, Zebra aspires to fulfill the life of all members of society materially, relationally and spiritually. This is done through the work of volunteers, who produce a monthly magazine containing poems, pictures, drawings and editorials. Copies are street-sold by people living on the margins. Follow the stripes to foster their future!

Paper Marbling Workshop
The Turks call them ‘clouds’, the Japanese ‘floating inks’, we go by ‘razzle dazzle designs’. Marbling was a technique originally employed by bookbinders to colour sheets of paper used as book covers.
In our garden pavilion, we will hold a paper marbling workshop during which you can produce aqueous surface patterns on wrapping paper, notebooks or any other object of your choosing that you might have at hand or bring along for the occasion. Go kaleidoscopic with your colour palette!
Rorhof Bookshop
It is here, it is open! Rorhof’s shop is a half book and a half installation space, where you can purchase all our titles, climb up handmade marbled paper ladders, look through transparent envelopes, walk under a waterfall of fanzines and make a grande sortie with one of our totes on your shoulder. Things keep changing, so we advise you pop by every now and then.

Danilo Montanari is a publishing house based in Ravenna specialising in contemporary art, photography and architecture. With more than 700 titles published since 1980, the focus is on limited edition artist’s books, among which Maurizio Cattelan’s first book and the first ever monograph on Alighiero Boetti.
